Kingfisher’s Marching Miles for Macmillan in May
We are delighted to have raised £750 for MacMillan Cancer Support during our Marching Miles for MacMillan Month. Congratulations to our winning team, The Four Marketeers, who averaged an impressive 148.5 miles per person during the month.
MacMillan Cancer Support are the charity that Kingfisher Group chose to support in 2022.
Right now, more than 3 million people are living with cancer in the UK. By 2030 this figure will rise to 4 million. MacMillan Cancer Support are here to help everyone with cancer live life as fully as they can, by providing physical, financial and emotional support. They’ll do whatever it takes, no matter what a person’s needs are, they will listen and support them however they need them to — big or small. MacMillan raise money to provide vital cancer services, research and campaign to achieve better cancer care, and support the cancer workforce.
