Kingfisher launches #shecan Female Mentoring Programme

Today, to mark International Women’s Day, Kingfisher UK Holdings has launched the new #shecan Kingfisher Women’s Mentoring Programme, to support and inspire women across the Group.

Across Kingfisher UK Holdings, 50% of their senior leadership team are women, as are 44% of their overall employee base. Although this is higher than average within the UK, they are keen to not rest on their laurels and are keen to do more to encourage women to remain within the Insurance sector and to achieve their career goals. Therefore, Kingfisher are launching the #shecan Kingfisher Women’s Mentoring Programme to help shape the next generation of female leaders within the business and within the insurance sector.

Senior female leaders from within Kingfisher UK Holdings will be matched with other female members of staff who wish to benefit from mentoring, for up to a period of 12 months.
